Hi there, I'm Georgie.

I guess the reason you're here is to learn a little bit more about me.  Well, first off I’m an established food & lifestyle photographer born, bred and residing in Manchester. Having been surgically attached to my camera since the age of 13, when I first discovered my ferocious passion for photography whilst living in Hong Kong, I then went on to study Photography with Editorial and Advertising at the University of Gloucestershire 2013, graduating with a 2:1.

Specialising in food photography was inevitable for me; after growing up with weight loss issues I spent a lot of my adolescent years thinking about the best food to put in my body. This fierce passion for food never faded, so instead I made it my job.

I also shoot all different varieties of lifestyle photography - from drinks, to still life to a little bit of portraiture here and there. Photography has always been my passion and hobby, so much so that in 2013 I made it my career.

At the end of 2017 I decided photography just wasn't enough anymore; so behold - this website. Now my career spans three main sectors; photography, blogging & the Blogger Dining Club.

The blog is a space for me to talk about all the different aspects of my life; the events I attend, my home, my life and my pooch Lolli. I am so excited to see what it will have in store for me in 2018, and the new opportunities which are on the horizon. I also run another fantabulous blog with my best friend Kathryn Tighe, all about hosting at home stylishly. It's called Ginseng & Thyme, please do check it out.

The Blogger Dining Club is a project born from working in collaboration with lots of fabulous bloggers through WeBlog North, and wanting to bring the restaurants in Manchester and the North West together with fabulous influencers and brands to creative exclusive events. If you want to learn more about the Blogger Dining Club please click here.

In 2015 I published the book which propelled my career into a new stratosphere - Pub Dogs of Manchester. Pub Dogs no longer has it’s own feature on my website, but instead I’m continuing it’s legacy over on my blog under ‘My Dog & I’. Pub Dogs of Manchester’s name continues to live on, and to this day I am so overwhelmed by the love and support it gets. If you want to purchase Pub Dogs of Manchester, please do, I’d be forever grateful.

And finally, as I say, I am part of the WeBlog North collective; running photography workshops and events throughout the year, including the Northern Blog Awards. I’m very proud to call myself part of the WeBlog family, and we’re always looking to support other bloggers and influencers in the North. Want to become a member, and get access to our workshops and events? Thanks for taking the time out to read my bio and learn a little more about me.

A total across-the-board legend.

Georgie Glass totally captures the essence of what the Victorian Chophouses are all about and their importance and tradition within Manchester’s history Whether it’s Great British classics, seasonal specialities or brand new innovation, Georgie always hits the brief with her work- that’s why she continues to be our in house photographer.
